Story

When you get to the payment page, you must include your name and email address to be entered into the raffle. Make sure you are not anonymous if you want raffle tickets for the draw on 31st March 2022.

NOTE: If you wish to donate but don’t wish to join the raffle please choose the Anonymous option

The raffle will be held on-line at 8pm on 31st March.

We have already raised £180,000 towards the new base but due to increased construction costs we need to keep on going with our fundraising.

Tickets are £2 each and will be allocated automatically for the draw. You will only receive acknowledgement for the actual amount so if you contribute £10 you will be allocated 5 tickets and these will be entered into the draw which will use random number selection to select the winners on 31st March 2022

Please note that due to their weight, some prizes can only be collected or delivered locally.

RCN SC047799
Our Mission Statement is "to save lives and assist the community in emergencies". Working with Police Scotland, our primary role is as a land based Search and Rescue Team. Our secondary role is to support the wider community, which may be during adverse weather or major incidents. The team consists of 25 operational team members, all of whom offer their time free of charge, and are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We come from a wide variety of backgrounds, but share a passion for the great outdoors. The team are dedicated, highly professional and skilled. Team members are proficient in Rope Rescue, Navigation, Off Road Driving, Casualty Care, Search Management and Communications. As well as searching for missing persons we are often called upon to provide resilience at times of extended power outages, where we check on vulnerable residents to make sure they are ok.
