Our dear Heather tragically lost her life on 2nd November 2020 while out for a bike ride in Portobello, Edinburgh.

In lieu of funeral flowers, we set up a crowdfunding page to raise money towards a memorial bench and tree for Heather (link here: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/heather-stronach) Having surpassed that target, we now want to carry on and raise funds for charities that we believe Heather would want to support. We set up this new page so that the charities can claim 25% Gift Aid on eligible donations (this is not possible on the original crowdfunding page). 

The charities are:

> Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home - https://edch.org.uk/ - Heather and Martyn were on the verge of adopting a cat :)

> Sustrans - www.sustrans.org.uk - a charity that supports and champions cycling and  campaigns for safer cycling infrastructure 

When you donate, you can choose your charity. The funds go to them directly. We hope to raise a similar amount for each one!
