HATTIE SEYMOUR
At the end of November 2014
my boyfriends beautiful Niece was diagnosed with Leukaemia. She was rushed into Great Ormand Street where she is receiving the best care possible. Everyone wanting to follow Her progress began to follow a page on Facebook. The number of people that took interest was impressive and the family decided that some work for this charity should be done to not only help Hattie but to support those unfortunate enough to suffer of this illness in the future.
Hatties Grandad came up with the idea of the HattiesHaka group to drum up as much support for Hattie and her parents as possible. The goal of the group was for people to post photos and videos on various social networking sites doing their versions of the famous 'All Blacks' war dance. The response from friends of the family was as strong as Hattie could have wished however, the reaction from the general public from all areas of the world has been simply breathtaking. With an unbelievable amount of love and support from literally thousands of amazingly active and generous people the HattiesHaka appeal has raised a huge chunk of money for the Leukaemia Care Charity.
Seeing this generosity from so many people made me extremely motivated to get out and do something that would be a huge mountain for me to climb to show my support for firstly, a gorgeous baby girl who is fighting for her life and secondly, raise some money for an amazing group of people working night and day for my chosen charity.
I understand fully that there are hundreds of charities for you to choose to donate your hard earned money, but please take time to read through the HattiesHaka page and donate generously to this cause which is so close to my heart due these difficult times for Hattie and her Family.
