Story

On the 25th of August I'm gonna have most of my hair cut off...Gulp!

So, this year is Christians Against Poverty's 25th year. To celebrate this I'm taking up their Ultra Challenge...(modified it to remove all that pesky running!):  I'm going to have 25" of hair cut off

I've had long hair for ~20 years, so this is a big deal for me! I'd love it if you would be super generous by donating to CAP as I do this!

SNIP GOALS
 *

My mane not the only victim...If we hit more goals I'm gonna loose more hair!

Beard-be-gone: ACHIEVED

If we hit £800 the beard will be gone. Lets see how much hair I end up with at the end of this!

No-Stache: ACHIEVED

If we hit £1,200 the moustache will go too...Perhaps the true worry might be not hitting this goal (I've now achieved beard-be-gone!), but it will be what it will be!

Edit: A generous supporter has suggested I keep the Moustache if I reach this goal...So if we hit this I will keep the Moustache for the rest of the month - It's not long, but it will result in me looking silly on my holiday weekend so I'm all for that, and there will be pictures 😊

Silky Smooth: ACHIEVED

If I reach £1,600 I'll have my legs waxed too! Gulp...This may be something I very much live to regret, but it's all for a good cause!

I'm not the eyebrow Plucker...

If I hit £2,000 I'll have my eyebrows plucked! It seems unlikely, but I don't want to deny people a spurious reason to donate to a good cause! 😎

* Snip goals will sadly not be donated to the little princess foundation!

Why CAP?

CAP does amazing things giving free debt advice and lifting people out of poverty daily - It really does transform lives. If you want to get a bigger feel for what they do and how it impacts people search for Christians Against Poverty on YouTube (www.youtube.com/capukorg).

I like what they do so much that two years ago I moved to Bradford to work for them!

Super Generous you say?

I love my long hair - I'm hoping in giving it up we raise a substantial amount. #BeGenerous

Donating because you want to see me almost bald is 100% awesome and I'm really thankful for it! You should joyfully give what you want to and feel you can afford. Thematically multiples of 25 seem fitting, be that £2.50, £25 or £250, but if you wanna give £1 or £51 no one's stopping you!

If you check out Christians Against Poverty, and really want to support what they do (over and above seeing me almost scalped) you can give a monthly donation when you donate. Consider simply dividing your donation by 10 and giving that monthly! This will make a lasting impact in seeing poverty wiped out.

Princesses...and Pictures

I have a lot of long hair. I'm definitely going to be donating what is cut to the Little Princesses Trust. Because why wouldn't I?

I'm sure you'll get a chance to see me hairless (In person or on Facebook) - but I'll be sending out before and after pictures to everyone who donates. If you want them here make sure you're logged into Just Giving when you donate and select 'I'm happy to share my contact details'.
