Story

Thanks for visiting this fundraising page.

In the 1960s parents built the pool which is now run by the charity. The roof and changing room, over 30 yrs old, are now at the end of their life. Without a new roof the pool will have to close!

450 children, all at the Junior School and year 2 at the Infants, get a weekly lesson.

Other Primary schools and Swim schools use the pool and with the closure of the King Alfred imminent this would be another facility lost to Hove.

Every child that learns to swim could be a life saved!

£33,000 has been raised but a further £67,000 is needed. Can you help? Even the smallest donation will increase the total.

If you own a company or believe your employers might make a larger donation then you can contact the school- ptfa@hangleton.jun.brighton-hove.sch.uk  All help is greatly needed.

However for the rest of us donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to donate. The Parents, Teachers and Friends of Hangleton Junior School gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please donate now!
