Race for Life Basingstoke 5k 2014 · 18 June 2014 ·
The Hampshire Clinic team is made up of thirty ladies who work in various departments throughout the hospital. Each person represents a year that the hospital has been open; it celebrates its 30th anniversary later this year. The team is hoping to raise £500 through their race efforts.
Julie Berry, Director of Nursing at BMI The Hampshire Clinic said; "It is going to be quite a day, we'll be having lots of fun cheering each other on, but we'll be thinking about those people who are sadly no longer with us; friends, family and colleagues. We are doing this for all our patients who have been through the Oncology Department here at The Hampshire Clinic and we salute their courage and bravery. We're also raising funds for such a brilliant charity - we have a lot to thank Cancer Research for."
