We are a group of 13 teenagers aged 16-17 who joined the same NCS social action project based in Guildford. Over the week of Monday 2nd we will be doing a range of activities with the aim of improving mental health in Guildford and helping to support Age UK Surrey. On Monday we will be litter picking areas of Guildford, helping the area to be cleaner as this can positively impact mental health. One of our big activities over the week is our 200K challenge. As a group we are aiming to cover 200K, this will be through a range of physical activities including walking, running and swimming. On Tuesday our group will be taking part in a 13.84K walk across Guildford, contributing 179.92K to our overall target. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will involve projects focused on volunteering in a community garden in Guildford to help the mental health of residents.
