Palace of the Dead CHARITY RUN · 3 September 2021

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

CALLING ALL FFXIV PLAYERS & CHARITY SUPPORTERS!

On Friday 3rd September at 7pm - 11pm BST, a brave team of heroes will be entering the famous Palace of the Dead on a mission to get as far as they can whilst raising money for The National Autistic Society.

Autism is a very overlooked cause yet 1-2% of the UK’s population (that’s 100,000 children and 1,000,000 adults) are living with it. Did you also know that it is commonly misdiagnosed in young girls as anxiety & women are often not diagnosed until they’re adults as a result of this?

The National Autistic Society aim to provide support, guidance and advice, as well as campaign for improved rights, services and opportunities for all genders & ages of the autistic community.

Back to our heroes; myself (Scobes), Callum (Magkid), Barnie (bamusbatisbarns) & Christa (ChristaKK) will be partaking in our very own streaming event where we will each donate £1 for every floor of the palace we complete in the 4 hour time slot. Of course, we will be coming up with incentives for you to donate as well to make it that much more challenging for us.

Any and all donations are hugely appreciated by us all.
