3 years ago at the age of 20, my girlfriend, Amy, was admitted to hospital, feeling generally unwell. Upon completion of many different tests, she was diagnosed with a form of kidney disease called FSGS - a condition in which very little research has been completed. Her condition, despite numerous treatments has been unable to be cured resulting in her kidney function slowly dropping over the past 3 years and it is hard not to think that, if funding had been available to complete research in this field, this would not be the case for amy or many others with similar conditions.

Amy is now awaiting a kidney transplant as a result of FSGS, however I would like to raise money to hopefully, prevent more people like her in the future having to go through the hard times that she has by challenging myself and raising awareness. 

The reason for this page is for a generic page for all events because I know people don't like being hassled with continuous sponsor appeals...so be generous! ;)

Jokes aside....All donations, little or large, massively contribute to this great cause and I thank you all in advance. 

In 2015 the Events I will be completing are as follows however I aim to add more to the list as dates are organised:

•  Working to Keswick - 30 mile run - 22nd March 2015 - Complete in 3hr 18 - 1st place! Course record! :)
  
• Manchester Marathon - 26.2 mile run - 19th April 2015 - Complete in 2hr31 - 12th Place - 2015 UK U23 No.1!
  
• Keswick to Barrow - 40 mile run - 9th May 2015 - Complete in 4hr 12 - 1st position - Fastest in 20 years! :)
• Windermere Brathay Marathon - 26.2 mile run - 17th May 2015 - Complete in 2hr40min - 1st Place :)
• Great North Swim - 1 mile open water swim in Lake Windermere 13th June 2015 - complete in 31 mins
• Hoad Hill Half Marathon - 13.1 mile trail run - 9th August 2015
• We love Manchester 10km run - July 2015
• Prudent Riverside 10 mile - 2nd August 2015

Now I best go and teach myself to swim and start training!
