Hello Friends, Family & Colleague's
Thanks for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page. On Sunday 9th May 2010, for the 2nd year running "Graham's Girls", will be putting one foot in front of the other to complete the Farleigh Hospice Walk for Life. A 21.5km walk from Heybridge to Chelmsford through countryside along the river. Last year was physically difficult for all of us, but we finished, much to our relief and with a real sense of achievement. Overall between us we raised in excess of £1100 which was absolutely fab and we thank all our sponsors so much for their generosity. As you are no doubt aware, Graham Mear sadly lost his brave battle with cancer and passed away in January this year. Graham's last few weeks were spent at Farleigh Hospice where he received such wonderful care. Farleigh still continue to support Graham's family. We wanted to walk again this year as our way of saying thank you & to give a little back to such a wonderful place. Please dig deep & spare as much as you can afford, to sponsor us in memory of Graham. We will be very grateful of your sponsorship however big or small and it will make our walk all the more worthwhile. We're sure Graham will be looking down, cheering us on & probably having a little chuckle!! Afterall we are not the most athletic group !! This year we welcome an additional member, Graham & Julie's daughter, Chloe. On the day, Sunday 9th May please spare a thought for us, as "Graham's Girls" once again takes to the countryside. We finish in Wharf Road car park & you are very welcome to come see us walk over the finish line!! Refreshments are available & boy will we need them !! Thank you so much, in advance. Julie & Chloe Mear, Joanne Mears, Helen Barnes and Jodie Osborne. x x x xDonating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
