Mercy in Action works to alleviate the suffering of children living in poverty in the Philippines and UK through feeding, education, shelter and love. 

As well as running charity shops in Bath and around the UK, their projects include The Petra Project (providing a nurturing home for up to five young mothers and their babies who would otherwise be facing homelessness) and the Action Pantry foodbank. 

Action Pantry is delivered in partnership with Fareshare South West;  providing fresh and store cupboard food to families in need. Referrals to the service have increased substantially in recent months.
