Story
So given the healing ankle, I am unable to throw myself out of any airplanes, embark on any exceptionally long walks, run any fun runs and climb any mountains for the foreseeable future so I thought it was time I undertook my next challenge which...is to be the toughest yet!
I am going to GIVE UP ALCOHOL for 30 days.
It's going to be tough but WITH YOUR HELP and GENEROUS DONATIONS and support, I think I can do it. I know I can!
So, from 2 to 31 March 2013 I will be tee-total. I feel it is such a monumentous challenge that I might even tweet / Facebook daily updates to prove it!
As ever, I am raising for the charity I chair: the KENT LAW CAMPAIGN. Kent Law School is using the monies raised to fund the construction of a new building which will be the new home to the Kent Law Clinic - a service which provides free legal advice to people who cannot afford to go elsewhere. For more information please visit: http://www.kent.ac.uk/giving/lawcampaign/index.html
I will contribute whatever money I would usually spend on alcohol to the challenge and ask you to sponsor me to show your support. Whatever I raise the minimum I will donate is £100. And the target I have set myself is only £300 - so please do donate and show your support!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
