Girlguiding Cymru raises money for the NHS with their Presidents Challenge Badge.

The President’s Challenge has been created for girls aged 5 to 18 and is all about keeping connected, active and positive at home. Girlguiding Cymru's badge design competition was won by Guide Iris from The Vale of Glamorgan. 

Behind the new badge is Girlguiding Cymru’s President, Tori James. Tori is a huge inspiration as she was the first Welsh woman to reach the summit of Mount Everest. Tori said: “Congratulations Iris, your badge design is absolutely brilliant. It captures what life is like right now and I hope the badge will be a great reminder of how Girlguiding has helped girls to cope with time at home. I’m sure it will be worn with pride by girls across Wales”. 

There were over 150 entrees from all over Wales and top 5 designs were put to volunteers for a vote. Girlguiding Cymru wants to give back and to show their appreciation to the frontline and will be donating 50p of every badge sold to NHS Wales.
