Story

Hello again! 2014 was pretty painful. But thanks to some astonishing emotional, physical and financial support we got there, raised almost 10 grand for the Foundation, and made a real difference.

In the year since Steve Prescott's death I've missed him a lot. It's been tough for everyone not having him around, not least Linzi, the boys and his brother Neil. Those who knew and loved Stephen will never forget, but I really want his wider legacy to be lasting. I feel we owe it to Precky to carry on what he started.

What the mind believes the body achieves, so Iets go again, and go bigger in 2015.

I wasn't sure where we could go after the 100-miler last year. Training for two marathons in between work was pretty brutal having never run one before. But there's no point in a challenge if it isn't challenging.

So let's have a crack at it. 200 miles. 4 marathons, a couple of halves and a mountain thrown in. When Steve died he was planning to scale Kilimanjaro in just 5 days (the advised route takes 9 days and carries a 27 % success rate) so we'll give that a shot too.

I'm also delighted to be teaming up with Men's Running magazine and their Project 26.2 team this year.

I've no idea whether I'll manage this but this is how I hope the year will look.
