Story
Hi Everyone!
How exciting! The fabulous Eric Chen of ZIN Zhongzilla Zumba is helping me to host an online Zumba Class Fundraiser in aid of The Junction - Young People, Health and Wellbeing.
Fear not, Eric (a fully qualified instructor) will be running the class, not me - I will however be working out alongside you. The class has no set price, so please just donate what you can.
We would of course love to see you there on screen wearing some Junction Purple or decked out in some purple face paint, but only if you fancy it - in fact if you're feeling a little shy you don't even have to turn your camera on. Come along on your own or rope in your friends or family too - all are welcome!
To join in at 6.00pm (zoom room open from 5.45pm),Thursday 24th June go to...

Meeting ID: 993 6844 6732
Passcode: zumba
And remember...
*no previous experience needed
*wear some purple if you fancy it
*mics on mute and it's up to you if you want your camera on or off
*have some water ready to keep hydrated, it's thirsty work
*participation is at your own risk, so make sure you've pushed the sofa far enough back to let you wiggle about
*there is no set price, so you can donate what you want
So looking forward to dancing alongside you and please spread the word, the more the merrier!
Take care, April-Wendy
MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE JUNCTION...
This is The Junction's 16th year of working with young people in Leith and North East Edinburgh. To mark this milestone birthday, we are asking people to join us in raising funds across the year, so we can continue to offer services that support young people in our community to achieve their full potential.
Adolescence can be a challenging time for young people - learning about the world and its wider systems, learning who we are, how to be independent from family, and managing relationships and friendships. This is only exacerbated by other challenges such as anxiety about relationships, identity, education and their future.
The pandemic has added more uncertainty and challenges for young people. During this time the Junction has continued to support young people with their health and wellbeing when they need it most.
