Story

This is now a two year long project, culminating in climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in July 2022 (should have been June21).

Thats another years opportunity to raise money for Wheatfields Hospice who provided palliative care for my brothers dear friend Gemma who sadly lost her battle with cancer in July 2020.

To read more about Gemmas story and sign her petition to ensure people receive full body scans for cancer prior to being given the 'all clear' is taken to parliament, click on the link below.

Following the launch of the now two year long campaign in June ‘20 with a week long virtual trek of Kilimanjaro, we did a Christmas themed Speed Quiz, and now, as Kili is postponed I am climbing the UK 3 Peaks in 24hrs with the Kili crew on July 24th - great practise! MUST BE CRAZY!

As an add on, and as an incentive for people to sponsor me, if I can get this page to £5K I will shave my head! So what more of a reason do you need? I am curious to know what I look like bald…..

Sue Ryder Nurses and healthcare teams are always there for local people who are dying. They are providing incredible emotional support as well as specialist medical care to people who are finding themselves in unimaginably difficult circumstances. We are all facing something we have never faced before which is why Sue Ryder has launched an appeal to make sure that they are still here. I am asking you to give whatever you can afford at this difficult time. Every pound you give could make the difference to whether they can be there or not. It is that simple.
