Story
Zahra and I enjoyed the Hadrian's Wall virtual hike so much that we've signed up to the next challenge, which is to walk the entire length of the Isle of Wight's stunning coastline... virtually between 1st - 31st July. That's another 70 miles!
For many of us, doing our part during the current health crisis means staying at home, but Pilgrims Hospices nurses and support staff continue to provide skilled and compassionate end-of-life care for people living with life-limiting illness across east Kent. Our family has benefited first hand from their help in June 2015 when my Mum/Zahra's Nanny died of cancer.
Here’s how your donation can make a difference to the lives of Pilgrims Hospice patients:
£10 could pay for a patient’s meals for the day
£25 could pay for an hour of nursing care
£30 could pay for the Community Team to hold a video consultation with a patient in their own home
£45 could pay for a virtual counselling session for an individual coping with the loss of a loved one
£100 could pay for all the medicine needed at one of the inpatient units over 24 hours
By sponsoring us, we know you'll truly be making a difference to the lives of people living with a life-limiting illness and their families.
Thank you.
