AID Dallas volunteers are running to raise funds to support their long-term partner Jan Swasthya Sahyog to improve maternal and child health services in rural Chattisgarh, India.

Story

Jan Swasthya Sahyog is a not-for-profit organization working in rural Bilaspur and Mungeli districts of Chhattisgarh for the past twenty years. The main activities carried out in the village program have been treatment of minor ailments at the village level by the VHWs, malaria control program, tuberculosis control program, maternal and child care program, womens health clinics, non-communicable diseases program, creches program (for children 6 months to 3 years of age), and a self-help group program. We are hoping to raise $20K for this project from AID Dallas!
