Story
At the age of 4 in December 2020 Beau was diagnosed with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive childhood Cancer that at the point of diagnosis has only a 50% chance of long-term survivorship.
Beau is a member of my extended family, and I want to do my bit to help get Beau to Sloan, where she can access a new treatment with the aim of preventing her cancer returning.
You can find more info about Beau, the treatment and the campaign on this link: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/beauscampaign
FEBRUARY CHALLENGE
I'm setting myself a challenge to run at least 2 miles every day in February. For those of you who know me, you know how much I hate running, so this is definitely going to be hard work. Please dig deep and help make it worth it!
In the event that I have to work late, I will replace running with a session on the indoor rower - however, the distance will go up each day that I choose to do this. So the first day I substitute running with rowing it will be 5km, and then increasing by 2.5km each time.
If I do neither of these things, then for that day, I will donate £20 of my own money to the pot!
MARCH
In March, I will also be taking part in a midnight memory walk along with my mum and other family members and friends.
