Event: Skydive Dunkeswell, on 31 December 2023
20 of our Young Ambassadors are bravely taking on a Skydive to raise money for Children's Hospice South West.

Story

I'm a Young Ambassador for Children's Hospice South West and I am taking on a Skydive to raise vital funds for children, young people, and their families across the South West.

20 of our wonderful Young Ambassadors have bravely decided that one of their fundraising challenges will be jumping out of a plane at 15,000ft in a sponsored skydive.

The Young Ambassadors are a group of school and college students aged 16-18 who support CHSW with fundraising and raising awareness of the charity.

This year’s cohort is made up of students from West Buckland School, Bideford College, Petroc and Kings College with the programme increasing to 53 ambassadors in 2023.

The skydive team will be organising events to help them raise £395 each, the minimum amount needed to jump for free. One way you can help is by donating directly to their Just Giving pages and helping them reach and exceed their target and raise vital funds for CHSW.

Some team members have organised bucket shakes and collection points in North Devon, cake sales, setting up sales stalls at music concerts they are organising and collecting at Affinity Devon Shopping Outlet, who have selected CHSW as their charity of the year.

Please help these amazing Young Ambassadors where you can, so they can support our families

 Thank you.
