Story
After reading about Alzheimers society's current focus for Dementia Action week, I had to jump at this opportuntiy to raise awareness.
The current standard of care in the UK is poor and is something I recognised a lot when seeing my mum put in various care homes, and hospitals throughout her illness of early onset Dementia. This has been a longstanding issue and COVID has really highlighted this.
As my business is sewing fidget products for people with Dementia and special needs, I have decided to create my own sewathon. Whatever I make will be donated to st Martins hospital in Bath where I witnessed the best quality and standard of care.
Join me on a livestream on the day where I will be sewing for 24 hours! I know! Im not quite sure how Im gonna do it but a challenge is a challenge!
