Story
For the love and strength of Elaine Seddon and Rachel Chesher …No greater gift than a friendship which lasts a lifetime ….with the true meaning of love….
My name is Zoe Watson. The Aim of this page is to raise money for Cancer Research, inspired by two wonderful ladies , one I am proud to call my best friend and the other my little sister….both were my Bridesmaids when I was married way back in 1990…(the marriage didn’t last... our friendship did!)….
I have known Elaine Seddon (Jones!) Since I was two years old she has been there for me through thick and thin. Throughout her ordeal with cancer she remained the most positive person you could wish to meet…after undergoing chemo and still in recovery she has good days, some not so good, but she is a real trooper. Rachel is my step sister who's recent prognosis I am glad to report is looking extremely positive… Elaine’s battle Breast Cancer has led her to new beginnings and she has recently started to go back to work on a part time basis......Although it was a real shock initially...Racchel is also changing her life in a positive way - she has done lots of research and amongst other things is enjoying growing and eating organic food. Support for both girls from friends and family has been gratefully received.
Their children’s ages range from 26 to just 6 years old….. All mothers and fathers know the true meaning of unconditional love, and how much it will mean for these two wonderful women to see that we CAN make a difference and support Cancer Research….. which in turn will help us all to look towards a bigger, better and most of all a brighter future.
How can you help??…. Sponsor me…. PLEASE :-)
I will be doing a swimathon on 1st April which will take place in a swimming pool. Apart from that our aim initially was to make a short film loosely based on the lard soaked character of Victoria Wood .. we had to change this completely as owing to the recent snow and arctic! conditions the 'character's sea swim is just not doable. So instead you will be seeing some firemen amongst others! in a short 'fun' film about this event. Only just found out we can't load the film on here so if you would like to see it, you will need to email me zoe@museart.co.uk.
The total raised will go to more research, so that people like Elaine and Rachel will no longer face any kind of battle, because ultimately WE WILL WIN - BECAUSE WE CARE.
