Many people, in Calderdale, will have had direct experience with the wonderful Overgate Hospice. Some of you may have raised money for them or donated generously in the past.  Some of you may have had close family members or friends who have  needed their help. I visited  there very recently, for the first time and was completely blown away. As a visitor there was such an amazing feeling of calm, tranquility and contentment. It exuded dignity and warmth and I left feeling that everybody in there was in safe, caring hands. 

I know I have had to rethink my challenge due to menopausal, physical and mental obstacles but I will be running each day.  I will start the challenge on Monday 26.09.22 at Overgate and finish by completing the virtual London Marathon, crossing that virtual line on Sunday 2.10.22 again, at Overgate. Please, please support this effort, my goodness, I’m going to need your backing and encouragement
