I am braving the shave for alzheimers society. This charity is very close to my heart, i have watched family members suffer with this awful illness. I currently have a nan in a carehome due to this illness but the biggest impact on my life is my Grandad being recently diagnosed. I am a grandads girl, for all intents and purposes he has been my Dad when mine didnt want to be. The journey that my family are going to face is going to be a long and difficult one. Its charities like this that are hoping to make breakthroughs and help many families like mine in the future. So please if you can,any donation would be greatfully appreciated. Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
