Story

My amazing partner Moe passed away in November last year. I decided to sign up for the Robin Hood half marathon with the aim of raising some money in his memory. I have chosen to support an area of the hospital that is close to my heart : Hayward House, a centre for people needing specialist palliative care. Moe and myself received excellent care throughout his illness, and they have continued to offer me support since he passed away.

Until a few weeks ago, I’d not even done a Park Run, so the half marathon is a massive challenge for me. The training has helped me emotionally and has kept me active over the last few months, when at times I haven’t wanted to leave the house.

Please donate if you can, as there are so many other people needing the support that we were lucky enough to receive. Thank you xx
