Story
I'm running my first ever marathon, the London marathon! It's on 3rd October this year, and I'm running it to raise money for Lymphoma Action.
You may well ask me why I chose this particular Charity. As some of you possibly know already, but a lot of you might not...it's a Charity close to my heart because in December 2014 my dad was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Follicular Lymphoma.
Having had a 6 month course of chemotherapy (Sept '18 - Feb '19) he's currently doing ok thankfully...but this type of Lymphoma isn't currently curable, and although the chemotherapy knocks it back for a period of time, unless medical advances or a cure are found, another round of chemo will be inevitable at some point in the next few years to try and keep it at bay.
So please donate to help me raise as much money as possible for this very worthwhile Charity who are trying to beat Cancer for good!
