Story

Hello all

I will be taking part in the London Landmarks Half marathon in April 2022 to raise money for Mind (City, Hackney & Waltham Forest). This is my local mental health service that I’m in no way ashamed to say I have used myself after being a long term sufferer. They are a brilliant charity that support those affected by mental health through a range of different programmes and services. I’ve experienced first hand the amazing work they do, and I know for a fact any donations towards Mind will help in more ways that you can imagine. 1 in 4 people suffer from mental health related issues every year in the UK meaning ourselves, friends, family and colleagues are all affected. It’s so vital that we support each other and talk about this! We are all in this together after all so please look out for one another.

I will also be running this in loving memory of Marcus Fisher who tragically lost his life whilst taking part in the Royal Parks half marathon in October 2021. He was a friend to all, and loved by so many. I feel so blessed to have met him, and I will be thinking of him the entirety of the race ❤️
