We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my justgiving page.

Four years ago, our family were given the devastating news that my dad has Alzheimer’s. Although we expected it, hearing the diagnosis for real was heartbreaking for us as a family.

Four years on, it’s hard seeing the daily challenges he faces and sad as a family watching him struggle at times. But we continue to make lots of happy family memories for us all and love spending time altogether.

I am taking on this epic challenge to raise money for people like my Dad in the hope that a cure will one day be available. Until that day, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted and able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

Every donation you can spare, means the world to me and my family and everyone else living with or affected by this cruel, heartbreaking disease. Watching someone you love lose a small piece of themselves each day is devastating and we need to find a cure.

Thank you all ❤️
