On Sunday 17th May 2020 I am running my first 26.2
mile Windermere Marathon. It is one of the most scenic and challenging courses in the UK but I'm hoping the beautiful surroundings will help me through it as it is going to hurt!!  

I am running the Windermere Marathon on Sunday 17^th May as part of a
 team of 26 like minded energetic individuals who have been
persuaded by Paul Mayson to run and support him and the Brathay fund
raising effort during his attempt to conquer the Brathay 10 marathons
in 10 days challenge !

The 10 in 10 starts on Friday 8^th May 2020 with 10 consecutive laps of the 26.2 mile Lake Windermere Marathon course. It concludes on Sunday 17^th May with the main Windermere Marathon event. We are
all joining him on that day to run our own race, support him and 
importantly each other, in getting to the finish line.

simply need a chance to thrive and flourish. The charitable work of
Brathay is underpinned by enterprising fundraising and our
