Story

** Due to an injury last year, I was advised not to run the marathon  -just 6 weeks prior to the event! However, my place was deferred and we go again this year! **

I'm running the London Marathon for SignHealth on Sunday 2nd October 2022! I started out struggling to comfortably run 5K so it's safe to say it is a BIG challenge for me to achieve 26.2 miles...! I've been strictly following my gruelling training plan, yet again, for the second time around!

I've decided to run for SignHealth due to the INCREDIBLE work they do for the Deaf Community. SignHealth's aim is to improve the health and wellbeing of Deaf people by offering a wide range of services in British Sign Language. They have crisis textlines, domestic abuse support, therapy, advocacy and residential services. I've seen for myself the AMAZING work the deaf staff carry out at SignHealth! See here for more information: https://signhealth.org.uk/

SignVideo kindly agreed to match-fund if I managed to raise £1,700. Whilst training for the marathon last year I raised £2,115.50 which Sign Video match funded to a total amount of £4,231. Thank you so much to everyone who kindly donated last time around, I know that the money has already gone a long way.

I'm currently following the 12 week marathon training plan all over again and I'd really appreciate being able to raise even more for this great charity.

PLEASE SUPPORT ME BY DONATING AND COME AND CHEER ME ON, ON SUNDAY 2ND OCTOBER!
