Story

Meet the team taking on the Zip Slide:

Doctor Susan Cook - Consultant in Palliative Medicine

Caroline Jack-Mortimer - Rehabilitation Support Worker

Elaine Mackle - Aux Nurse

Hannah Reid - Staff Nurse

Jaana Martin - CLAN Complementary Therapist

Please meet Caroline, Hannah, Elaine (who is missing from the picture) and Susan who are pictured with Andy the Elf.

They are part of our incredible team, who on Sunday 13th November will be taking on the 1000ft Zip Slide at Strathclyde Park as part of www.st-andrews-hospice.com/santas-zippity-doo-dash

They go above and beyond every day in their professional lives by providing care, compassion and kindness to all of the people who need the Hospice. In a few short weeks they will be going above and beyond in their personal lives too by tackling a Zip Slide to raise essential funds.

Caroline said "We know times are tough for people with the energy crisis but as a team we wanted to do our bit to help the families who need St Andrew's Hospice. When we heard about the zip slide we jumped at the chance to do it! I keep going from scared to excited but I know I am doing it for a good reason"
