Story
Friends of Zetland Park have been tasked with raising £25000 as part of their £2.5M Heritage Lottery Fund bid. In partnership with the Rotary Club of Grangemouth who have pledged £8,333 we as a community need to come together to raise the remaining £16,667.
Can you help?
This money is the communities contribution to the wider HLF application and if successful will result in a grant of £2.5M to be spent in the park.
ALL moneys raised will be used to improve our beloved park.
As the largest greenspace and centrepiece of the town we want to make it a more attractive place to visit for all ages.
We want to create a natural pond, restore the fountain to working order, upgrade the War Memorial area, redesign the play park, build a skate park and inprove the rose garden area.
We want to celebrate our towns history by introducing a heritage wall and rebuilding of the towns original clock tower.
Refurbishing of the kiosk/toilets and improving lighting throughout the park are also planned.
