I KNOW I exercise better when I have a reason and a deadline.  I now have both !  

A couple of ladies who swim with us did the Thames Path Challenge this year and inspired me.... so, having let it sit in my mind for a few weeks I decided I could and should give it a go...... it's certainly a challenge.... 

However, 35 minutes into my first training walk (02 11 2014) my right achilles was not happy, and I limped all the way home.  I've a lot to learn and a lot of stretching/training walks to get under my belt in order to feel as comfortable as possible on May 23rd/24th 2015....
