Zeeco Europe are taking on the Dragon Boat Race Festival on Saturday 10th June 2023.
More than 40 teams are expected to compete over the 200m racecourse, watched by several thousand spectators.
The event is all in aid of Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice who are there for people with life-limiting conditions and their families. It is the only specialist palliative care inpatient unit in Peterborough. It also provides a Hospice at Home service for people who prefer to receive palliative care at home, virtual day services supporting those with long-term conditions, and family and bereavement support. Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice relies on its incredible supporters to help raise crucial funds for its care. Your support will help the hospice to continue to deliver its expert and compassionate care – and fill someone’s last days with love.
Sadly, almost all of us will experience the loss of a loved one - your support can help more people get the end-of-life and bereavement care they need and deserve. - £21 could help fund an hour of expert care and help fill another family's final days with love- £60 could provide one complementary therapy session- £145 per person could fund a Sue Ryder Nurse for a day- £500 per corporate team could fund 24 hours of Sue Ryder care. - It costs around £3,244 for someone to be cared for at home in their final days by a Sue Ryder Hospice at Home Nurse. Sue Ryders specialist teams provide expert and compassionate care, which means the end of people's lives can be filled with friendship, family and love in their final moments together.
