Story

I am a born and bred New Yorker who grew up cheering on the New York Marathon runners every year in Central Park. It has always been my dream to run the New York Marathon one day, and I have finally put in the time to train for it.

I am extremely honored to be part of the HSS team for this race. My relationship with HSS goes back a long way, with HSS being the go-to place for all my sports-related injuries ever since I was an adolescent. I am proud to support an institution that is at the cutting edge of musculoskeletal care and research to help today's and tomorrow's athletes and non-athletes alike get back on their feet.

A bit info more about HSS is below.

HSS is proud to be an official charity partner for the 2022 TCS New York City Marathon taking place on Sunday, November 6. We have an incredible group of runners on Team HSS this year, training and fundraising for HSS. The funds raised through this effort will ensure HSS can continue to provide world-class musculoskeletal care and help patients get back to what they need and love to do better than any other place in the world. We hope you will support our runners by clicking on their pages. If you have any questions about making a gift or about Team HSS, please contact Samantha Havens at (212) 774-2929 or havenss@hss.edu.
