Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 16 September 2018 I will be cycling 54 miles from London to Brighton to raise money for Re-Build. This is a small British charity that was set up in 2015 by my friend Evin Zengin (current Chair).
All staff and trustees at Re-Build are volunteers. This means that your entire donation will go directly to assisting civilians.
Current projects and campaigns include:
- 'Small Touches, Big Lives’ which focuses on social integration of refugee children into British society through weekly visits to a retirement home to participate in arts and crafts.
- Building an Eco-school in Kobane, Syria for 300 children.
- Medical and humanitarian aid for people in Afrin, North Syria. Many charities are not present in this region due to political pressure, however, Re-Build has partners on the ground to deliver essential supplies.
- Workshops for refugees in the UK.

I would be very grateful for any support you can give - no donation is too small! Training tips, encouragement and bike banter also appreciated.
