Story

My name is Zara Eulalia Rembridge and I am 7 years old.  My Mummy went to heaven in 2017 when I was only 3 and now she is the brightest star in the sky. Since 2017, my Daddy, my Brother, my Sister, my family and all of our friends have been running in The Clifftop Challenge and I have always wanted to run with them.  It’s my turn now and I am really excited to be running 5 miles in September @ The Clifftop Challenge this year.

I am going to wear Number 32 as this is my favourite number because this is how old Mummy was when she went to heaven. My team name will be Zingy Zara’s Zoomers and we will be running in red t-shirts, Mummy’s favourite colour.  The photo on this page is my favourite of me and Mummy together.

I am raising money to help find a medicine to make other Mummy’s better.

Please help love Zara xx ❤️

My name is Lee Rembridge and I am Zara’s Dad.  Since 2017, family and close friends have been running in The Clifftop Challenge under the name of “Megan’s All Stars” and so far we have raised a staggering £24,022.  As Zara has already told you, Megan died at the age of 32 and as this is also Zara’s favourite number, we are aiming to reach the significant figure of £32,000 in this, our third year of fundraising.  Therefore, the target this year is £7,978.

In November 2018, I visited the Toby Robins Research Centre in London and saw first hand the amazing work that is undertaken by some of the brightest minds in research.  This research centre is entirely funded by donations from charities such as Breast Cancer Now and this is why our donations are so important. Through funding this research, it is hoped that by bringing together these brightest minds, the boldest fundraisers and the most determined campaigners that by the year 2050, everyone who develops Breast Cancer will survive.

I can not tell you all how proud I am that Zara is running this year and how proud she is to be “ Running for Mummy “.  Can I ask you to please dig deep again and help Zara reach her target.

Thank you for all of your continued support.

Lee
