Story
After Zara learnt to walk again after Brain Injury, we discovered other people in similar situations and formed a charity to ease the burden of recovery for them. We decided on the charity name for 2 reasons;
Firstly, from the literal point of view that our first big challenge of walking 1064 miles from John OGroats to Lands End, UK (JOGLE) would take about 3 Million Steps. We were told that it just takes one step, repeated 3 million times.
Secondly is from a symbolic point that there are no 5 quick and easy steps to any recovery be it physical, emotional or mental. 3 million is a large number, but not unachievable with the right input. After all, we are proof. Take any recovery systematically; one step at a time, and before you know it you've walked two countries!
Whilst we both continue with Zara’s recovery, please help support us in providing the equipment and services needed by other survivors and their families
