Please note, just because my small target has been achieved, it does not stop you giving, as the more that goes to BHF, the more they can do for us all !!!
Brian Blackwell was taken from us on 26th January 2008. He had a heart attack in January 2002, which left his heart badly damaged, so he had to have a quadruple heart by pass! Dad was never the same after, he couldn’t do the normal things that he used to do, and had to cut back on a lot of things due to his heart condition! Then on10th December 2007 he had a stroke and never recovered from it, and his heart gave up 7 weeks later.
Please help me raise money for a very worthy cause, the British Heart Foundation, so we can give other people the help that they gave to my dad.
Living with heart failure can be terrifying and currently there is no cure. Sufferers can face a difficult battle that's deeply distressing for them and their families. In severe cases their life expectancy is less than that of many cancer patients.
But now, with your help, heart failure patients and their families have real hope for a cure.
