In memory of Charlie Watkins

Story

Hello hello, thank you for visiting my page..

I've made the mad decision to take part in a Boxing Fight on February 22nd as part of Bristol University's Fight Night. I am doing this in memory of the lovely Charlie Watkins, whom we all miss very much,  and so all donations will go towards the Charlie Watkins Foundation. The CWF provides vital grant funding to help assist young people with mental health issues across the country. This is an extremely important issue and one very close to my heart.

It's 2018 and yet the stigma with mental health issues still persists in society. Raising awareness/speaking out to friends/letting your friends know that it is okay to speak out is incredibly important and will help tackle this bizarre 'taboo' around voicing our emotions. It goes without saying that there is nothing wrong with suffering from mental health issues of any kind, and I strongly believe that no one should be made to suffer in silence because of society's strange desire to pathologize that which we do not understand. Please help me fight this issue (and some unfortunate geezer in the ring).

Any donations much appreciated. Thank you very much x
