So, as you can see myself (Zain) and baba (Mahrous) will (inshallah) be shaving our heads the Saturday before Ramadan starts 02/04/2022.

 A women-led charity we trust and support, Souriyat Across Borders, is fundraising to build homes for internally displaced Syrian refugees (6.2 million) who have been living in camps for the past several years. Building a home in place of a tent is something many didn't feel was necessary. Naively, we thought the conflict would end as soon as it began and things would return to normal. But it is nearing 12 winters that refugees have had to spend in camps and the conditions are simply unacceptable. Snowstorms across Syria and its' neighbouring countries leave millions of displaced Syrians at risk of freezing and many children unable to keep themselves warm pass away every year. If shaving my head raises enough money to put a roof over someone else's head then it's worth it.

BY THE WAY, each unit costs £1200-1600 to build, hence the target of £2500 which would hopefully cover the cost of at least 2 units for 2 families :)
