I was born profoundly deaf and the Ear Foundation helped guide my family through the process of receiving my Cochlear Implant when I was just 20 months old.

I am very grateful for the opportunity to have access to both the hearing and deaf worlds.

More recently I have attended camps organised by the Ear Foundation which have been invaluable in helping me make friendships, enhance my signing skills and most importantly, help me connect with my deaf identity.
