Story

During his lockdown daily exercise outing, Zac (aged 4) has learnt to ride a pedal bike and he's aiming to cycle 26 miles by doing laps around the block.

Last Tuesday (21st April) he started by doing one lap and he's since increased the number of laps each day by one.

Each lap is 0.19 of a mile so on the day we do 14 laps he'll have done 2.6 miles that day and by the day we do 16 laps he'll have done 26 miles in total. Whooop!

Save the UK's Charities

General fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.

Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity dedicated to making life-changing breakthroughs in diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure.
