Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising funds for the current crisis in Yemen. Yemen has seen a shortage of food and basic necessities within the last several years due to wars and the current Pandemic.

Me & 2 other brothers are running and walking from East London Mosque to Cambridge Mosque, which adds up to more than 50 miles (85km) without any breaks except for fair Salaah. The duration of the Ultra Marathon is nearly 18 hours.

Over 5 million children in Yemen are facing starvation. With the conflict there showing no sign of abating, the 22 million Yemenis relying on humanitarian aid is only set to rise.

Our food parcels will give victims of what the UN calls, ‘the world’s largest humanitarian crisis’, the essential food they need to survive.

A typical food pack includes: rice, sugar, cooking oil, lentils, flour and milk.

Each food parcel will provide enough food for one family for a whole month.
