We offer free support to people with cancer and their loved ones

Story

My Uncle Donald was a supporting and an amazing man to me, his family and friends. When he fell ill, it was hard to see him so poorly although we all, including him, kept a smile, joke and hug going to keep the spirits high.

Maggie's Centre is there for anyone affected by cancer, giving support, empowerment and professional help to frightened, vulnerable and uncertain people.

My walk on Saturday 22nd September takes place from midnight, up Scafell Pike. It is the highest mountain in England and sits in the Western Lake District. Popular with rock climbers and walkers alike, many people climb the mountain each year, but very few will climb it by moonlight!
