Fundraising for Alzheimer Scotland
Story
During a really hard time I took up running to help my mental health, without it (and the support of Norrie and my girls) I don't know how I would have coped. In April 18 I challenged myself and did something I (and many other people) never thought I would ever do and I ran the Stirling Half Marathon - it was AMAZING and it encouraged me to sign up for the FULL 26.2 miles in 2019.
This time I have decided to run in memory of an AMAZING lady who had a huge influence on my life my NANNA. She suffered and fought through Dementia at the end of her life. It was horrible to watch such a fantastic strong person suffer this horrible disease. She received a lot of support from Alzheimer Scotland through regular visits to the Bungalow for socialising, carrying out crafts and meeting other people. She loved visiting there and showing me and the girls all the things she made there.
Please support me and help me raise money for Alzheimer Scotland who helped my Nanna and other friends families when they were dealing with this horrible disease. Every penny helps so any donation is welcome.
