Story
On 3rd July 2017 I received the terrible news that my dear friend Natasha had been diagnosed with a brain tumour. Natasha was only 47, married with 2 children. I remember Natasha telling me that she would fight this awful diagnosis, she was a fighter, full of life, a devoted wife and mother to her family and a true, loyal friend. Natasha put up a good fight, but unfortunately lost her battle to this terrible disease on 10th November 2020. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her, as i drive past her house and wonder how her family are coping without her. Natasha was taken far too young. I now feel that I want to give something back in her memory.
All I need to do is cycle 274 miles throughout August. Easy! When out cycling I will think of Natasha, think of her smile, laughter and hope she will be looking down on me and smiling. Her drive and determination will give me the determination to complete this challenge and raise much needed funds for Brain Tumour Research
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer.... yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.
Please visit my fundraising page and help me achieve my target. Your help is very much appreciated.
