Story
I am going Sober this October because I want to support a charity close to my heart and help bereaved children and young people in the Highlands.
The death of a close relative or friend is a time of great sadness for a family. For children and young people this can be a confusing and distressing time. There may be unanswered questions about what has happened and the grief of other family members may cause added stress, making it hard for the child to talk about their feelings.
The Crocus Group in Inverness is run by Highland Hospice who provide emotional support to help with the grieving process for bereaved children, young people & their families. They provide a safe & secure environment where they are the main focus & help them to cope with the loss of a loved one.
