Walk? What me? I don't do walking Charity Walk · 11 May 2013

Nightingale House offers a wide range of facilities to local people and their families living with life-limiting illness. Patients come from Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire and outlying areas. In 2025 it will cost £5,603,094 million to run the Hospice - this equates to nearly £15,351 per day.

Story

My sisters and I used to live in Wrexham many years ago. We have all moved on and now live in various parts of the country but its where our mum and lots of our family and friends still live. On the 15th June my sisters and daughter and family friends will all be walking 17 miles to raise money for the Nightingale House Hospice in Wrexham. This wonderful place needs £7000 a day to keep its lovely doors open to those who need it most. Not all of us are very fit or sporty or used to walking the Welsh mountains - and 17 miles probably doesn't seem very much in comparison to some of the wonderful fundraising challenges we all support! But please help us help them and dig deep. Bless you and thank you. xx
