Story
With this Sunday's London Marathon cancelled and all of it's fundraising possibilities for charities disappearing, the 2.6 challenge is a fantastic idea to raise some money at a time when it is needed the most. Many people have raised amazing amounts for the NHS, but I chose to try and raise a little for a cause at a specific hospital providing much needed services. It makes it a little more personal to see what your efforts directly contribute towards.
As part of this week's training, I am asking the people that I usually coach to take part in a 2.6 challenge of their choice as part of their remote fitness program, and send me some feedback about what they have done. If they are able to, I'm asking for them to donate a small amount to this cause. Alternatively someone else may wish to "sponsor" one of them and donate on their behalf.
I have set a relatively modest target, as I know how tight funds are for many people at the moment, and I'm encouraging all of my groups to take part in the challenge, even if they can't donate. Any amount no matter how small will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
